Although this Evaluation Plan is not required by the Higher Learning Commission, or the College, I sought approval from the Interim President, Ms. Natalie Gillard, to design a Moodle shell template that meets Quality Matters Guidelines to use for all online courses in our Learning Management System (LMS).  This will streamline the “look and feel” of courses to allow students to feel comfortable when entering any course that the College offers and provide continuity across courses and improve the retention of learners, as well as help them succeed.  This will bring the College one-step closer towards the online Associate of Arts Degree that meets Quality Matters Guidelines, as well as aide the faculty in the design process of Quality Matters courses, while continuing to meet their academic freedom.
